What your assistant gets from DigiKey

  • Live stock and price breaks for each BOM line, priced at the quantity your build needs, with the minimum order quantity applied.
  • DigiKey part numbers as input. A DigiKey number in your BOM (a Digikey or Digi-Key Part Number column) pins that exact listing, which is the surest way to get modules and breakout boards right.
  • Side-by-side comparison with Mouser and JLCPCB for the same part, so you see where the build is cheapest and which offers have a minimum order far above what you need.
  • Lifecycle warnings from the manufacturer: parts that are not recommended for new designs or at end of life are flagged before you order.

Search by DigiKey number

Ask your assistant about any DigiKey number and it can call get_part for the full specs, every offer with its price ladder, datasheet and pinout, or find_alternatives for checked replacements when the part is out of stock. A part number that is not in the JLCPCB/LCSC library yet is looked up live at DigiKey and Mouser.

From DigiKey prices to an order

When the BOM looks right, your assistant calls place_order with the quote. Nothing is charged by that call: we re-check live stock and price, then email you one payment link for the whole build. You approve it yourself.
